Registrant Board member vacancy

NRCPD is looking for a Registrant to join the three who took up their places on the Board last year. We are particularly looking for applications from professionals who are on the Registers of Interpreters for Deafblind People, Lipspeakers, Notetakers or Speech to Text Reporters.

It is an exciting opportunity for communication professionals who are registered with NRCPD to play a role in its future. You will help it protect the public by overseeing the continual improvement of registration services and raising the profile of communication professionals and registration.

This is a voluntary role commencing as soon as possible. It is initially for a period of three years with the potential for renewal for a further three years. It requires a commitment of four to six days per year. It is not remunerated, but expenses will be paid and a small honorarium is available to cover additional activities if required.

Your role be to contribute your views and experience as an individual Registrant. Applicants will therefore be shortlisted on the basis of their skills and experience. Your CV will be evaluated against the role description and personal specification.
