On 15 January we wrote to all Registrants and trainees, training providers and awarding bodies about changes to requirements for Trainee Sign Language Interpreters (TSLI). The new requirements will be implemented on 1 April 2018.
We have recently approved a Signature training event for Speech to Text Reporters. Speech to Text Reporters who successfully complete this training course will be eligible to apply to register with NRCPD. The training event will run later this year in London. This course is open to those who have successfully completed the BIVR Speech to Text Reporter membership exam, or the BIVR Verbatim Reporter membership exam. If you are interested in attending this training event please contact tori.raw@signature.org.uk
The Practitioners’ Forum will next meet on 5 February 2018.
The next NRCPD Board meeting is scheduled for 27 February 2018.
