Last month, we emailed you about the improved CPD policy that is coming in November 2020. Part of the improvements to the CPD policy involves the publishing of a new CPD handbook. We are delighted to say that the CPD handbook is now ready for you and has been published on the NRCPD website. The handbook has been published now to give you time to read and adjust before the improved CPD policy is in place in November 2020. You will see in the handbook that you will have more flexibility with your CPD, adjustments to CPD points, including certain CPD activities moving from unstructured to structured. The handbook explains how the policy will be implemented from November 2020, please read this section (page 25) and let us know as soon as possible if you would like to 'opt in' before you next renewal.
These changes to the CPD policy require alterations to the online portal and we are currently implementing and testing these changes, to ensure that everything works as it should before November, when all changes will be in effect.
