As part of our strategic aims of 'Understanding Stakeholders' and 'Building Networks', NRCPD would like to meet with the UK Deaf communities to discuss how we can better protect the public and ensure the quality of language services and communication support nationally. Through working with d/Deaf* and deafblind people, we can have a greater impact in the work that we want to do.
NRCPD will have three focus groups which will take place online on the following dates and times:
Each meeting will have a maximum of 8 participants and we will be moderating the meeting with discussion topics, as well as recording participant responses. Topics for discussion will cover aspects of the NRCPD Concerns and Complaints process and how we can improve the different services that we deliver for the public. As there is a maximum number of participants per meeting and as we are keen to hear the experiences and feedback from a variety of service users, you can only join one discussion group. Each meeting will take place on Zoom and will have BSL Interpretation and Speech-to-Text captioning too.
If you would like to take part, please let us know how best to contact you and which of the three dates listed above are suitable for you by email at: enquiries@nrcpd.org.uk or via VRS in BSL, and we will then email you the details for joining the focus group.
With thanks,
NRCPD.
