NRCPD has published a new handbook to help Registrants meet our continuing professional development (CPD) requirement.
The handbook was drafted in response to feedback from Registrants. They asked for clearer guidance on what activity counts as CPD and how to approach it.
Our Code of Conduct requires Registrants to keep their professional knowledge and skills up to date. They have to use their CPD to maintain and develop their competence and performance.
The requirement is central to the way NRCPD protects the public by regulating communication and language professionals. It helps us to make sure Registrants are up-to-date with the latest good practice, learning new techniques and sharing their experiences with colleagues.
We want the handbook to be helpful, so welcome feedback from Registrants. Please contact us if you have any comments or suggestions.
