Applications from people who are D/deaf, deafblind or have hearing loss are especially encouraged. NRCPD are looking for two new trustees to join the Board. This is a unique opportunity at an exciting time on our journey to full independence, and in our vital work now and beyond that.07 November 2019
We have been in the midst of some important developments these past few months and so we wanted to give you a full update of what has been happening at NRCPD.06 November 2019
The NRCPD Board has decided that registration fees will increase by 1.7% overall for 2020. The Board looked carefully at the operating cost pressures for NRCPD in the year ahead, our further plans for development both in terms of delivering the registration service and the wider impact we have in our public protection role. In making this decision the Board took into account inflation (CPI), the considerable investment in IT during 2019 and that fees were held at 2018 levels for 2019. It is vitally important we continue to invest in our capabilities so we sustain NRCPD as a vibrant independent organisation and effective regulator. As part of a carefully considered budget for 2020, this small change is the minimum that will enable us to do that.
