Nature of Complaint

The Complainant raised concerns around the conduct of the Registrant relating to medical appointments. Allegations include delaying appointment for service user due to their availability, breaching professional boundaries by contacting service users and hospital directly after assignments without consent and leaving the appointments whilst service user was still undergoing treatment.

Investigation conducted into potential breach of Section 1.1, 6.1 and 6.2 of NRCPD's Code of Conduct.

Outcome

Evidence was sought from various sources, but no supporting evidence for the allegations was found. The Registrant fully cooperated with the investigation. After a thorough investigation, the case was reviewed by the Professional Conduct and Operations Manager and the Independent Registrar. Under paragraph 17, the Independent Registrar decided to close the complaint due to lack of evidence and was satisfied that NRCPD had made every effort to obtain relevant evidence.
